Dear Valued Patients, Colleagues and Friends,

This year marked twenty six years that I have been practicing dentistry! As I watch the years clip by, I have made the decision to transition to my next exciting passage in life…..as a daughter to my wonderful 89 year old mother, a mom to my three young adult children and a wife to my fabulous husband- whom have all supported and allowed me to be away for endless hours focusing on caring for my patients and dental practice.

My dental career has been beyond fulfilling. As I write, I think of all the wonderful relationships and people that I have come to know over the last twenty years in my private practice. I have been blessed with an incredibly talented team, who has gone to great lengths to fulfill our philosophies of providing exceptional patient care in a “cottage” practice setting, with a personal touch. We have enjoyed getting to know each of you as people and not just patients. You have impacted my life beyond measure.

My decision to retire did not come without hesitation and complex thought. The person I sought to take over my practice was not easy to find. I hold my small town roots close to my heart and am averse to the corporate platforms that seem to be consuming small businesses. I would like to introduce you to Dr. Hannah Fox. I feel blessed to have found a highly credentialed dentist, graduating with high honors from California State University of Sacramento and high honors from University of the Pacific School of dentistry, the same dental school that I graduated from. She has a Masters’ degree in stem cell biology and exceptional advanced training with Invisalign and surgical implant placement. She is also actively involved with a distinguished advanced study group. She has the skills and compassion necessary to place me at ease as I retire. You will see the same familiar team to greet you when you arrive at your next visit with Dr. Fox.

I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to serve you throughout the years. I sincerely trust Dr. Fox, and assure you that we plan to work together in reviewing pending treatment, and care in process for all patients. I am confident that you will enjoy Dr. Fox as much as I have enjoyed getting to know her. Thank you again for your many years of loyalty. I will miss you. I am experiencing a great deal of emotion as I turn the page to a new chapter in life, but I am excited knowing I have found an exceptional person to take care of my team and my patients.

Now, allow me to present Dr. Hannah Fox:

Hello! It is with great excitement and a deep sense of gratitude that I write to introduce myself as the doctor taking over for the esteemed Dr. Harmon as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

I am a long time resident of the Sacramento area. I grew up in Elk Grove, where my husband Chris and I were high school sweethearts. My husband and I are blessed with two adorable boys, ages 2 years and 2 months old, and we are deeply invested in our community. He works on the worship ministry team at the nearby Bayside Church, and we have been residents of Roseville for six years.

I am proud to have earned my undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, as well as a Master's degree in Stem Cell Biology, both from California State University, Sacramento. My educational journey continued at the University of the Pacific, where I attended dental school, the same dental school attended by Dr. Harmon. Our shared background and similar training have led us to develop comparable treatment philosophies, rooted in excellence and patient-centered care. I am proud to have graduated with honors both at the undergraduate and graduate level and I bring that same dedication to providing exceptional dental care to all of you.

I want to take a moment to express my utmost respect for Dr. Harmon. She has been a pillar of the local dental community, known for her attention to detail and genuine care for each of her patients. I understand that she has left some big shoes to fill, and I am committed to upholding the high standards of care that you have come to expect.

As I step into this role, my goal is to continue the tradition of compassionate treatment in a non-corporate private practice model. Dr. Harmon has aptly described our practice as "cottage style," and I wholeheartedly embrace this approach. I am genuinely excited to meet each one of you and to become a part of your dental care journey. Your trust in me is deeply appreciated, and I look forward to building lasting relationships with you and your families.
